Welcome to That Don't Work, my new blog on writing and other things that either don't work or don't make a lick of sense. I was reading an indie book
recently that had several plot devices that either didn't work or didn't make logical sense. It was
well-written on a technical level. At first I sacrificed other things to make the time to keep turning pages, but
the logical problems continued to mount. I grew increasingly frustrated over the course of the book. "That's physically impossible!" I told my Kindle more than once.
Long story short, I decided to make a blog that could help fellow writers avoid the kind of mistakes I keep seeing. Since it lends itself very well to YouTube, I've created the That Don't Work YouTube channel.
